Aladino Corojo Toro (6×50)

Price range: $12.80 through $230.39

Here is something worth knowing about the Authentic Corojo leaf: it almost disappeared entirely. The original Cuban seed is notoriously disease-prone, and over the decades most growers quietly switched to hardier hybrid versions that were easier to manage and cheaper to protect. Julio Eiroa did not switch. He developed his own proprietary methods to keep the original seed alive on his farm in the Jamastrán Valley, and the Aladino Corojo line is the direct result of that stubbornness.

Every leaf in this 6×50 Toro, wrapper, binder, and filler, comes from that same farm. Same seed. Same soil. Same family tending it. What you get in the glass is a fully realized Honduran puro with a profile built around cashews, cedar, leather, floral notes on the retrohale, and a natural tobacco sweetness that only shows up when a single-origin blend is firing on all cylinders. Around eleven dollars. If you have never smoked a true Authentic Corojo puro before, this is exactly where to start.
